Is there any way to create sloping steel columns in Revit Architectrue 2010? I've read a lot of posts, and the help (which didn't help) and don't know if this is possible. I have a sloping roof that is supported by steel columns that also slope. I need to be able to place them in plan and slope them to a desired pitch and then attach them to the underside of the roof. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Beams can slope, so make it as a sloping beam instead.

Good post, how do you make the top of the column parallel with the ground?

Just cut the beam.
