you have a lot of these walls . 2. In the wall family go to Edit/New-->Edit structure. Make sure the Preview Pane is Visibile. Go to the Section Preview and you should see the tool buttons become available. You need to make a new layer/region with the new material applied to it but no thickness. Cli
