Great Lighting effects...
I am always having problems when doing interior rendering with lighting. regardless I change the lumen of the lights, the ceiling always looks dark.
Any tips to get over this truevis?

I suspect its the same way I did my headlights and rear lights on my audi. Make the chandelier as a family, then make another family which is a single light source. Insert the chandelier family, then the single light source into one of the light bulbs. Then copy into all the other light bulbs. Tip is to then group that within the project for ease of moving together etc.
I can't get light sources to work when nested in a family.
Not so sure about the design of the chandelier though....

You are right.

I just threw together the chandelier -- it's not the point of the study yet.

Just make sure light gets there and check your ceiling material. I'm using a lot of materials from accustudio http://www.accustudio.com/exchange/materials.htm. I find them more realistic.

I could make the family with multiple lights but could not put it in the project. I had to make a non-lighted chandelier then I used 6 "studio lights" near the light bulbs. I think nested does not work because you'd need a tree to turn the lights on and off instead of a linear list. No help from the help file there.
