does anyone have any sample elevations (screenshot/image) of what revit can produce in regards to elevations.

Here's one i'm currently working on. Modeling is pretty well done just needs annotation/dimensions.

just what i was after to, i see you can add detail to the elevation Cryingarches over windows) are these done in 2d?

Here are some more elevations of a building that we are working on - an overview of the elevations and a more detailed one.  There is no reason why window arches in the previous example would not be modelled in 3D, but you can add 2D detail to the elevations, as if it was an AutoCAD drawing.

Thank you. Those were straight on elevations of the model w/o any detail linework. Freize boards are sweeps, boxed cornices are extrusions as are arched trim. Window heads are components, corner boards, ridge vents, 2 piece fascia and horizontal frieze boards are host sweeps. Tapered columns are parametric and downloaded from this site. The stone wall is split wall at sill ht. and replace the lower section with stone wall assembly with sweep and reveal to form the water table. Here's how it rendered OOTB.

Dgodfrey, that's a superb Revit model. Surely a real inspiration to anyone questioning the capability of the software.
