I'm trying to draw stairs with glass balustrades but can't seem to curtail them at ands and corners.  Has anyone overcome this problem or will I need to draw hte balustrade manually?

Search under "spiral stairs" in the gallery of this site.  There you will find a stair with glass balustrades that will show you what REVIT can do.

Be sure to check out the sample stairs and railings on the Autodesk website.

Thanks Tom for reminding us of that.  The link Tom gave is for 2008 but these are in the web-library site where you can download earlier versions as well.

These are great to start from.  For beginners, you can open one of thes up and copy paste a railing or stair into your project where you can modify it to suite your needs.

Be sure to check out both the metric and imperial sites since they are different.  You may be able to use both with modifications.

Thanks for the llinks - these will be usefull.  I notice that the railing sample illustrated (see attached, extracted from the drawing) has the same problem that I am experiencing, where a different size panel is left blank.  Do these need to be drawn in manually, or can I sort this out with a formula for the panel length, using different railings for each flight and hte railings?
