Can anyone help. I am trying to have LB walls under with a shade (using filled region) and LB walls over with a hatch. I have both of these filled areas as transparent. Now my problems if that the shade, when I select it and then select the "send to the back" button, nothing happens. The shade is blocking the slab lines and wall lines. What am I doing wrong? why won't it go to the back?????? Can anyone help please Thanks Anchovi

I am having the same problem, anyone know how to solve it?  i realize this post is quite old.  Also the filled region is set to transparent, but still overlaps my objects.

Filled regions can't be sent behind model objects, but if they are transparent you can see through the gaps.  With fine fill regions the background can be drowned out.  If you don't want that then edit the boundaries so that htey are not over the model objects.  In the image both regions are set to transparent, with the top being solid fill.

I am having the opposite problem.  I have a filled region with a selected linetype boundary (thick solid line) which is drawn at the center of a modeled wall assembly.  With the transparency of the filled region set to 'transparent' the boundary line is disappearing behind the wall elements.  If I wanted this line to disappear I would have selected a 'transparent' boundary line, but I made the concious decision to select a specific detail linetype.  I don't understand?!?  Revit is like my High School valedictorian -- book smart, but no common sense (aka. the dummest smart kid that I know)...
