I am working on a couple of design options for a office renovation. I created a group using 3d panels for cubicles and included room separation lines for cubicle wall (see below). The cubicle group is in both design options The intention is to create a room schedule to include the cubicles.

The challenge is that the room separation lines from the other design option is showing up in my view and when I try to place rooms in the cubicles, they overlap (see below)

So I was wondering if there is a way to turn off the room separation lines for the other design option? I looked into using a filter, but room separation lines aren't available in the filter elements selection. Maybe the trick is to remove the separation lines from the cubicle groups and use them in the design options instead? Appreciate any help!

Hey pgrimmi,
I'm not sure how your groups and design options are set up but, yes, if you put the room separation lines in the design option, they won't show when you're viewing other design options.
However, if adding them to the design option doesn't work for some reason:
- I would recommend having a separate view (like an enlarged plan) for each design option
- Then you can have view specific visibility modifications
- In each option's view you can then individually use hide element for any room separation lines you don't want to show.
If you're only using the room separation lines as a way of defining the space (and maybe also for area calcs) and still having issues, I would recommend maybe using a thin floor or something like an "area rug" family because these are model elements and wouldn't show in other design options. If you use the floor option, you will still be able to see the area if that's needed.
Hope this helps!
