Hi guys, i need a help..
Need dummy callout...with option for adding sheet name and view number.
Please help asap..

Try the "Reference Other View" and then refer it to the view that you would like.

I dont want to give reffrence other view option ..as my detail sheets are preparing in cad...just need a dummy callout to show

found a file in 2019..but i dont have 2019 version..can anyone make same thing in 2017 and send it to me..i got a submission today..it will be a big help if anyone can do it for me.. TIA

Create dummy views with the same name as the CAD views. But it's simple enough to create what you want from scratch using a generic annotation family - why don't you try that?

When we need our sections/plans/ etc to reference to a detail drawing in AutoCAD, we place a normal detail into the correct section/plan/ etc and place that callout detail onto a sheet with the correct sheet name. We then write across it in big bold letters to refer to AutoCAD sheets. This way callout references correctly. Staff can visibly track the path where the detail is and the sheets can be scheduled.
You could also just do it with dumb 2D lines and dumb text.

I need a dummy callout as well... you can't make a floor plan view or even a floor plan view reference in a detail view. Too far along to remake the detail views into a floor plan view and Revit will not let you change it. Need a dummy tag as a work around. Wish Revit would let us open families in previous versions!!!
