I am in a plan and attempt tp cut a section. I get this message

"None of the created elements are visible in Floor Plan: FLOOR PLAN View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings."

what do I need to do I am in version 17 - Thanks Byron

It means that something is stopping the sections from being seen.  First check your VG settings to see if they are switched off.  If not, check the scale of the sections - they have a parameter to make them not show at certain scales.  Then check if there is a view filter that is hiding them.  Theses are the first things to check for.

I don't understand... you title this as a section cut but you talk about floor plan.  Is this a section or is it a plan detail?
