Any suggestions for accounting software to suit the Architectural industry? Looking to do the usual accounts receivable/payable, timesheets, project billing and reporting. Any help greatly appreciated.

We're a few months in to using QuickBooksPro. I really like the timer function - there's a little clock on the desktop that you can use to choose jobs, and it keeps track of your time, and you just switch with a mouse click whenever you work on somethign else -- much better than our old 'try to remember until the end of the day / week exactly what you've been up to.' It seems to be going over well with the person who does the billing, but that isn't me, so I can't tell you for sure how it is. You can have two sets of information -- Job numbers/ titles, and activities, so you can bill or track seperately for Smith House - schematic, Smith house - existing drawings, Smith House -- model, or whatever you need. I know QuickBooks has a full complement of other finacial stuff, like accounts recievable, etc., but I haven't used that part. Hope this helps. -Erin

Thanks Erin, I thought the likes of Quickbooks and MYOB would not provide enough functionality for us but I will have to look into this a bit further. Appreciate your feedback.
