Hi, I am learning Revit and have just created my titleblock (which is really just kind of a copy of my old CAD titleblock that I have been using for many years; with the exception of text labels, which I think are totally awesome).  So I have an item that is basically just a rectangle with text inside of it that says, "not for construction".  I would like to easily be able to turn this thing off and on (in CAD I just had it in it's own layer which I would simply turn on and off.  The lines have been assigned to a subcategory which I was planning on using to turn it on and off, but I can't figure out how to put the text in the subcategory also.

Does anyone know an easy way that I can accomplish this goal?  By the way, I am planning on doing something similar with my architect stamp.

Thanks in advance.

Use visibility parameter. In the title block family, create a text (I don’t think you need a label for that) -> select it (1) -> click on a builder button (2), I think that's how it's called -> create a new parameter, either Type to control the text on all t.b., or Instance to turn your text on/off on sheet by sheet basis (3, 4) -> load it to your project -> select the title block -> edit type (5) -> check or uncheck visibility parameter (6).

Also note that if it is a 'Type' parameter it will affect all your sheets, while an 'Instance' parameter will only affect the one sheet.
