I'm trying to put new windows over demolished window. Revit automitically creates an infill wall over a portion of new window. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi Kiwi
I suspect your problems is with Phases settings.
The existing wall and existing window must be created in a phase EXISTING
The window you are removed is done during the new works - which is a phase called PROPOSED
The new window is also part of the new works, also created in phase PROPOSED.
Here is a good link for a tutorial on how to work with phase's.

Thanks David for the advice. It appeared to be this problem. "Insert may be cutting fewer or more hosts than needed. The problem may be solved by forcing regeneration, e.g. by moving the insert out and back by a tiny distance in any direction." I fixed it by moving the windows and moving it back to original position.
