Hi everyone!
I'm doing a backsplash for a kitchen with 60" x 120" slabs. But there is a specific design and way to apply them in the wall, and I need to put them as real as possible so we can have the amounts of slabs we are going to use and how it will need to be cut. So I need to align the texture to a piece of geometry and make the pieces with the corresponding real parts of the slab in order to achieve and show the design intent.
So does anyone knows how I can do that?
Here is a image, this is the kitchen and an idea made in photoshop of how I need to put the slabs and what I need to do.
Thanks!

This is not a 'texture' as we normally use that term because this, I assume, is unique for each slab. As such, I don't see any way to do this with a 'texture' map. There is stone layout software that does this automatically.

Ok, so I said texture because this image (attached here) is the one we are using, is a man made marble imitation and the slabs are the same, there is only two types of this one and is only mirrored one to the other.
So basically what I'm looking for is a way to build the slab (that will be a geomtry 60" x 120" x 0.25") in any appropiate category (if there is one otherwise use generic model) attach the material with the texture image and put it into the model and cut the pieces where they need to be cutted.
Can do this in Revit? Even in a manually way?

OK.... You could use that image to create a material that would show in realistic views but you need a cooresponding 'hatch' that would match up to the material to align it with. Good luck with that!
So you place a material but there is no way to report back where that is cut from the slab.

Ok, I think I know how I'm going to do it. I really don't need a hatch because we are going to present the elevations in Realistic mode and for the report we are going to do 2D drawings on top of the image with dimensions to show how it should be cut.
Now what I would like to know is how can I make the material texture to align to the origin of my geometry?
