Hi RC

I don't know if I'm missing a simple setting, or whether there's some thing bigger that is wrong with my model.I cannot get my columns to cast shadows correctly in plan; but they work in 3D.

All columns have identical base heights/settings as the adjacent brickwork, which is obviously working properly.

I've checked my view range & everything looks normal. I also have no plan regions.

Has anybody encountered this before?

Thanks.k

Hi krlfschr - Did you ever figure this out? We are experiencing it too. Can't seem to figure out why... Thanks!

The settings in the attached image reproduce the condition.  Could it be this?

Hi Guys,

We found the solotion, it is to set the cut plane of the ref level in your column family higher than you cut plane within your project.

hope this helps
