We're renovating the exterior of an existing tower in four phases. I've created a modeled for each floor which is linked from the building's central model. I now need to create a Material Take Off schedule for the walls for each phase. When I created the MTO schedule, I can list the phase created in my schedule but I can't filter by it? Attached is a screen grab showing the Phase Created field not showing up as being filterable. I'm fairly certain this was worked before I linked the files. I confirmed the phases are correctly represented in the linked phases and central model. I can't imagine this is a limitation of Revit. Am I missing something? This is the first time I've worked with linked files, so may be missing something obvious.

Hi,

Please see the image. Is the Phasing option shown when you click the schedule button doesn't do what you intend?

For additional info., Not all parameters are available for filtering on schedule as you can see on your image.

Cheers.

The "Phase" setting at the beginning of the wizard filters out subsequent phases but includes all the previous phases, including existing. I'd like to create an MTO schedule for a single phase.

The behaviour I'm seeing is I can filter for Phase before clicking the "Include elements in linked files" checkbox, but as soon as I select the checkbox, the ability to filter by Phase goes away.
