Has anyone figured out how to get a viewer working for Revit 2014?

In the past, we were able to install the free trial version of Revit for people who are allowed to view the model, but not save any changes. When the 30 day trial ran out, folks could continue to view the model as a viewer.

I believe that things changed a little with Revit 2013, which had a seperate "Viewer" mode that you could choose upon installation.

Now, the free trial version of the softare appears to be some sort of online cloud software that blocks your access after 30 days are up. Has anyone installed this yet? Does it work the same? I can't find any information on the Autodesk website about how to get this to work as a viewer, so I'm wondering if they may have changed their policies on this...

You should have a StartMenu shortcut that starts Revit @014 in viewer mode by adding "/viewer" to the commandstring just like 2013.

There is a informative post on the Autodesk Revit Viewer

I did some research on this topic as well to answer others questions.

The video which covers how to install it, features, etc is here

Let me know if it helps you.
