I just modeled my first pipe. It shows to scale (~4") in elevation, but in plan it's drawn as green with a diameter of 24". In 3-D it's just shown as a line. I'd like to to show as 4" in all views. How do I do that?

As a follow up, it's looking like the pipe in plan is a symbol -- it scales with the drawing scale. I'm looking for the real-world diameter to be displayed.
