Revit 2013:

I turned daylight portals on for windows under custom rendering settings, however it is not registering for some reason.

The Render Progress bar shows " Daylight Portals: 0"  Even though I have several windows in my interior room rendering.

What's the problem?

Make sure your rendering lighting scheme is set ti 'Interior: Sun and Artificial'

The rendering isn't done yet but I was able to at least get the rendering engine to recognize the daylight portals. Didn't do anything special.

I also used the 'Copy to Custom' button and copied the 'Draft' settings to my new custom settings before turning on the daylight portals.

See attachment.

Attached is the rendering it produced. A little plain but seems to demonstrate the sunlight portal thru the curtain walls, doors and windows.

I did exactly that... None of my daylight portals are recognized.  It still says "0" even though I've checked all the boxes after copying to custom...
