Hello! Is there any other solution better than putting a mask region on top of the date?

I would like to have the date only without the time!!!!!!

Is this so difficult????

Revit has a built in Date/Time stamp parameter that is available for sheets.   We place ours off to the left of the sheet in the binding area.  It adjusts everytime you open the sheet.  See image

In Windows 10:

Settings >Additional date, time and region settings >Change date, time or number formats >Additional settings >Time >In Long time field delete everything and place a space (spacebar) only (in Revit the space will appear as well, but it will not be visibla as long format) >Ok/Apply

Please don’t do this!

It will mess up other applications such as Excel.

I can not believe that in 2020 we are still trying to resolve an issue from 2004. I'll ask again incase anyone has discovered anything new. Is there a way to have a date only (no time) that automatically updates? I've tried creating formulas which did not yeild the correct date (this was a suggestion from the autodesk forum). I even tried a masking region and a text box only to find that it will not let me put that on top of the label. Holy crap Autodesk. Get your crap together!
