is there s tool tah allows you to calculate the square footage of the house, roof, doors, windows, etc.? the only way i have done that was withthe calculater onthe computer.

oh is there ever! turn on the area analysis toolbar and create area plans. too much to explain - have a look in the tutorials. very useful thing - not pretty, but it creates great data for schedules.

thank you, i aksed because now after were done buliding the house, it has to 1500sqft, i looked on the board and saw that my teacher wnat to do that, so using this eill make thing a lot easier!
