Don't know what gmax is but if it can export out to dwg or sat then yes - but remember only items created within revit can be parametric.
The first question i'd ask is, Is the geometry that difficult that i can't be created within the revit family editor?

well gmax is a program from autodesk, and i think it can export dwg files. the reason i asked is that since i dont have revit at home and i only get to use at school, i thought gmax could help.
