Hello,

I have searched around and can't quite find a resolution to the attached pdf.  I have built a custom baluster for the extensions, but the diagonal rail and top extension don't meet.  Any tips would be most appreciated.

Revit 2012

Thanks!

Nevermind I got it.  I had the rail path too long...brought to the start of the first riser and it worked out.

Do you really want to place the railing post at the edge of the nosing?

The way I did was to create two extensions, one for top one for bottom.

Actually, you don't have to do that.  If you break your railing sketch line at the point where the railing will break from soped to flat, and assign the flat area of the sketch to flat, you can move that post.  The only problem is the railing change of angle will be a miter and not a gentle curve.
