hello, i am working on material schedules but a have alot of walls of 1.2m so i am aplying a paint on both sides of walls which is ok on the schedules but it is missing the area that is on top of that wall and the end of it.
how can i work with this so i can really know how many real area i need to paint and have it on my costs

Remember, Revit is not an estimating program.
You might try painting that surface using the paint tool and seeing if that is reflected in a material take-off. I would do a simple test projetc. Wall 10x10x1 thick - painted .... take off the paint - then paint the top and look at the take-off to see if it changes.
