Here is a problem, when load family from metric library all very well and all the family there but when I go to new family command I can’t find any family template. Probably I didn’t define the path for them properly. Can someone advise me on that?

Regards

nirim

Paths are set under the Revit R pulldown - options.

Hi there WWHub

Thanks for the comment.

The thing is that in my program data\ Autodesk\ RAC2011\ UK I have the family’s’ library files and not the families’ templates to use when creating  new family. And nor are in the UKTempl. I set the file location to be:

Default template file = C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RAC 2011\UKTempl\DefaultGBRENU.rte

Default path for user files = C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RAC 2011\UKTempl

And Default path for family template file = C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RAC 2011\UK

And still can’t find them.

Do a search on your system for *.rte files.  Then set you path accordingly.
