Hi:

Im having an issue with room tags.

As I tag the OPEN OFFICE area a warning comes out (please sea attachment). Then I am not able to tag this room- the room tag that says OPEN OFFICE -122 goes away. The room is enclosed but in plan I am not able to tag this room. As you can see theres nothing wrong with the room tags in the other rooms.

The room area is extended to the ceiling so there's nothing wrong with the room volume and I can tag this room in section. The view range is also cut at 4' like the rest of the plans.

Thank you in advance.

Rob

Hi Rob,

By the sounds of things that particular room is "Hidden by View".  Use the "Reveal hidden elements" (lightbulb) button to turn on everything in the view (should be able to see everything hidden but if its hidden via filter it still won't show).  Select the Room and choose, Unhide element.

HTH.

Thanks Mr. Spot.

The room isn't hidden and there are no filters employed in this view.

Whats hidden in this room are lots of office furniture and electrical outlets. I wonder if thats what's causing it.

Rob

Hi Mr. Spot:

What was causing it was a few(6)  room separation lines that was hidden piled on top of each other in one portion of that room.

I'm grateful for the help. Thanks again.

Rob.

Problem with a room tag that won’t display, this is what fixed it for me.

Problem brake down:

On my new construction phased plan view all but one room tag would appear. When I would hover over the room with a tag I could see the room name and area total but when trying to tag it I would get an error message. “None of the created elements are visible in: Floor Plan 1 view. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings.”

So I proceeded to check all the mentioned problems in the error message to no avail. After further investigation I found my problem!

The culprit “Room separation lines”! There was a mix up in the created and demo phase of the room separation lines that were causing the problem to happen.

So make sure to create and demo them on the right phase!

Just wanted to bump this thread to confirm that the room seperation lines were the culprit for not seeing room tags. I isolated the category with the sunglasses and deleted the offending elements!

Hello to everyone, so i was trying to fin the answer about the room tag not showing and i find that you go on architecture tab-Room and area arrow and in the option area and volume computations you clikc it and in the window that appear you choose AREA ONLY (Faster) then all the new tags will appear, for me that was it. Hope for you to. Good luck.
