What is everyone doing for dimensioning beam splices in plan view? . . If I try to edit one the whole beam moves! I have tried dimensioning to every part (shape handle etc . . ). I would like to have a splice in where i could click the beam, edit the dimension and have the beam and the one it is spliced to move to the appropriate dimension.
Any Ideas, Greg

I was able to get this to work with a reference plane, and deleting constrained dimensions.

You could probably get this to work with a detail component acting as the reference plane, since you probably are using a detail component/graphic for the beam slice anyways.
