We downloaded an adustable door from RevitCity to have the capability to adjust the door swing and we are having issues displaying it in plan view.  We have a multi-level building that varies 6 ft over the entire project.  The doors were all added in on the 0'-0" layer.  We have created views for each of the different levels so that we can drop in model compenents to display properly in Interior Sections and Elevations.  The problem is now that I am moving the doors to be located on their correct level, The frame shows up, but the doors disappear in plan.  I have seen that the cut plane in a family can be different than the cut plane in a plan view, but I do not see anyplace where I can change this.  Is this the problem, and if so, how do I fix it?  Or is it something else entirely?

post a screen-shot with a door in plan, and both the type and instance properties clearly visible.  What you are describing is a bit difficult to understand.
