Hello everyone. I am working on a model that has went through several changes including many room changes. While changing those rooms my team has deleted numerous doors from the revit model but for some reason, the doors are still in the door schedule? Is there a way to easily remove the unused doors from the door schedule? Also is there a way to click on a door in the model and show that door on the schedule? Which would essentially be the reverse of selecting a door in the schedule and selecting the option "show door in model"? The doors which I want to delete from the schedule, do not appear in the model once I click the option "show door in model". This may be a simple issue, but it has me confused at the moment. Thanks in advance for your help, its greatly appreciated.

I have never seen this problem and I don't believe the doors don't exist. Revit just doesn't seem to do this. Are you or have you used design options? If so, in VG, cycle through those and turn them on one at a time. Have you ever used the "review warnings" process? You should do this to check for multiple instances in the same place. If you are using worksets, could you have a workset off? Are you using phases? Cycle through you phse visibility options to see if they are in a phase that is currently not shown.

Just open the door schedule, right click on the door number and click 'Show.' Revit will take you to the plan showing this door...

Wow, im an idiot, I figured out what it was. Revit was tagging double doors with 3 different tags. The tag I assigned and 2 addtional tags (1 for each door) when I used the "tag all" option. My question about showing the door in the schedule was the opposite of your answer. I want to know if you can select a door in the model, and then somehow show that selected door in the schedule. As opposed to doing this the opposite way? Thanks again for your help guys.

It sounds like you used a nested (shared) door family for your door leafs.
