I'm placing horizontal roof bracing in between my portal frame beams and there seems to be no cut back distance (see attached) I've set this distance in structural settings but it doesn't work. Any way around this so I don't have to compromise my model by physically moving the bracing back?

Is your horizontal bracing placed at the same level of portal beams?

Horizontal Bracing calls for SHS struts and rod bracing to be approx. 150mm below the top flange of rhe rafter. So in fact the bracing member actually passes under the top flange. Is this why?
