How can I Create Wall Pilasters in revit

The plain column - not the structural column - acts lika a pilaster and assumes the walls materials when it touches it.

I had a similar a question through the Smarter Architect youtube channel and created a short video tutorial. Please check it out: Revit Tutorial: Creating Wall Pilasters
There is also another way to accomplish the pilaster effect through using custom walls which I had my class do because I wanted the end result to maintain structural characteristics (which an architectural column does not) so here is another Revit option for you.
