Okay, maybe I'm not using the design options correctly, but here is my dilemma...

I have a project that may have a second floor over a portion of the building, depending on how the pricing comes in.  Which means I have to show both options (bar joists, metal deck and insulation, epdm roof as base bid and cold formed framing, concrete deck as alternate) in the set.  I have the pieces in the design options correctly, but i need to be able to show building sections with both options in the dd set.  Am I correct in saying that you can only show one design option at a time?  Is there a way to have a building section duplicated to show the alternate framing?

And if not, how do I go about this dilemma?

Thanks in advance.

I have not tried this but perhaps in the phases you could create two different phases and then the sections could change. Otherwise two different models.

You should create different views showing each design option.  Under VG, design options tab, set to "option 1" (or whatever you've named it).  Duplicate the view and then in that view set it to "option 2".  ONLY ONE MODEL IS NECESSARY.
