I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this, because I may have altered something, but here it goes...

When I start to dimension my plans the grip point for selecting the first point of the dimension is miniscule.  I mean almost not visible.  Is there a way to change the scale of this?  Also, I only get a dot at this point, I do not get a face of wall, wall centerline option, I only get a tiny dot at wall corners.

What did I do and how can I remedy this?

Thanks in advance.

Don't use linear dimension, use aligned.

Wow.  That was easy.  What exactly is the difference in the two types?  Why (or I guess when) would you use the linear dimension as opposed to the aligned?

Let's say you have a diagonal wall but want to dimension it in the x and y directions....

If I already have a few strings of Linear dimensions... is there a way to convert them to Aligned?
