Hi, I am having some trouble with the translation of an Autocad project into Revit. I have a Topograohical survey file and it does not have contour lines, it has the footprint of the existing building, other many areas on the existing site and a lot of site levels. How should I approach working the site on revit, before starting building paths and the new building? I have two Ideas:

a - make contourlines and work with a surface with levels approaching to the ones on the topographical survey.

b - model everything, demolish it on revit and place the new building on site.

Thanks for your oppinion and respounce, I attached the file with the topographical survey and the existing building wich will be demolished, Thanks and Regards!

Perhaps you could find out who did the survey - they might still have the 3D survey information.  If not you can create s toposurface and set the levels by placing points on the levels on the DWG and setting them to the correct height.

I'm not sure why you would want to model the existing building though, unless you need to see this.
