i AM TRYING TO GET PROFILES AVAILABLE AS INSTANCE PARAMETERS FROM WITHIN THE REVIT MODEL. I AM USING RST2010. I HAVE ATTACHED AN IMAGE OF MY ATTEMPTS. i ADDED A SHARED PARAMETER:FAMILY TYPEROFILE TO AN ANCHOR ROD FAMILY. i WOULD LIKE TO SOMEHOW LIKE THE AVAILABLE PROFILES FROM WITH IN THE AR-FAMILY TO BE AN INSTANCE PARAMETER THAT CAN BE SELECTED FROM THE MODEL. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREAT. YOU ALL HAVE BEEN SO HELPFUL ALREADY BUT I AM HOPING I WAS CLEAR. GREG

Yes, this should be possible. Hit the 'Add' button to add a new parameter. Then, select '<Family Type...>' from the very bottom of the 'Type of Paramter' pulldown. Select the appropriate category. Once you are finished creating this parameter, you may need to select the object and assign this parameter to it. If you have only one type of category (for instance, you have only profiles loaded into your project) it will default to the profiles you have loaded. Make sense?
