Is there an easy way to mirror a baluster end post?  This rail has steel angles supporting a cable rail system, and it would be preferable if the angles mirrored.  Is the way to do this to create two end posts, a left and a right?

Also, is there a good way to trim the cables, which right now are set up as rail profiles, to the end posts?  I hope the attached image will clarify things a bit.

and thanks to everybody on this forum I couldn't learn this program without it

You will need to create separate post for each end.

You can control the point at which the rails end (using the space parameter for the end posts), but it affects all the rail members.  You can, however, create a separate railing in the same place consisting of the handrail onlythat extends beyond the end posts.

That makes sense to use a separate rail for the handrail, and would not be difficult.

As a general Revit question, at what point do you give up on the system family and go for the additional control from a loadable family?  It would certainly be more work, but might open up some additional options.
