I just upgraded from Revit 7 to 8.1 and when some components like toilets or bar stools do not show up in my 8.1 model. This is only the case a a few floors. For example the toilets and stools show up on the 1st for but don't show up on the 2nd flr. If I select window the are where the toilet doesn't show up in shows me the temp dims and the show the specifc toilet type in the drop down but I visualy can not see the toilet.....
Anyone have suggestions?

It may be a view range problem caused by the upgrade to the view. If the project is worksetted, be sure to run the Audit function to find any database problems.

Finally found the problem here....
I went to the VV... and imported symbols... and turn on imported families...
These items are all items created from imported DXF ... drawings into a plumbing family... so they carry with it the imported families they need to exist...
Now I do not understand how they got turned off on some levels and not others during the import process... I think this is an easy fix.
