when i try to load certain components into my drawing, i get an error message that says "the family is not of the correct category"
one example is when loading a pavement stripe into my site view
i would like to load parking stripes and curbs into my site plan and use the site topography to host the parking components - can anyone help? thanks in advance

Use file-->Load Family as opposed to the load button when you click the component... This way it won't matter what category the family is.
