I have created a custom Revit TB by tracing over a linked cad Tb.  My problem is that when I go into my project and load my new TB it is coming in at different coordinates then the one the project sheets are currently displaying.

I am assuming I created my new TB at a different insertion point??  Does anyone know how or where Revit defines the insertion point of a Title Block Family?  I realize this is usually defined as the intrersection of two specific planes, however there is no option for planes in a TB family...

Thanks

The title block templates are in the correct place, so you should be able to copy and paste into a new title block that is in the correct place.  Aternatively, insert a new blank title block into the project, draw some lines at the bottom left (or any convenient point) and change it for the one that you have created.  Check how far it's out and correct it in the family.

Thanks Tim...I used the "measure and move" method.. I had tried it previously with no luck..but apparently my units were not set the same in both TB's. Once they were, it worked great..

As far as "cut and past" I cant seem to figure this out in Revit.  I see the clipboard area of the ribbon.. but when I try to paste into a different family or project it is always greyed out.  Is it possible to "cut and paste" anything from one project and/or family to another??

When you try to C&P, are you leaving both families open? I have found that if you close the family you are copying from it won't let you paste into the other project.
