well after having to do a complete system restore, i re-downloaded Revit 2010 form the student site, downloaded and installed fine. But when i went to open the program, the splash screen pops up, then nothing happens. When i click on it it says program not responding. Btw, I'm running on a Dell Insprion 1721 Laptop with vista, and plenty of room for Revit.

Hi Hammer, could be several things, you don't said the others specs. of your machine but if you are running Revit with LESS than 4GB ram you gonna be troubles, i work with 8 GB Ram and no problem, but could be another thing.... try to re-install and check...

Well i got 2gb, but i havent had any ossues in the past. I foixed it though by turning on the User Account Control feature and it started up fine.
