I have created a window fmaily that I am unable to place into a wall. When i try to place it, it gives me the "cannot make" error.  I am attaching the revit family to this post for ref.

Any ideas what I am or am not doing correctly here?  I thought I had the opening created correctly?

Make the wall thickness in the family the same as the one in the project that you're trying to host it to.  This will reveal the constraints that are stopping it from being hosted.

This is a problem I ran into a lot when I was creating my own wall hosted families.  When you make a solid or void, it seems to be relative to the CENTER of the wall... not the face.  Always make sure your objects are hosted or locked to the appropriate part of the wall.  When making a wall hosted family, right click on the wall and create a new "wall 2" with a different thickness.  I'll periodically change between the two walls to make sure my family is working correctly.
