I have a stair system that goes through multiple stories. I can't make one 5 story stair because they are different sizes going up through the shaft of the stair well. How do I get the stair to show a split stair?

Example: I am looking at the 2nd story. I see the stairs coming up from the 1st story all the way up to the 2nd story. My other stair I need starts on the 2nd floor and goes up to the third. I need to show both stairs with them having the UP/DN cut line to show them both in the same space.

Any idea???

Perhaps you could post an image of what you want.  The stairs automatically show a cut line and the stair going up and the stair going down.  You can control in the stair properties if the up / down text displays.

I just need the stairs not to show the rest of the run in dashed lines of what is above.

VG ... stairs and railings, you can turn on/off stairs beyond cut.

I looked there, I have 2010 MEP Revit.

There is not a railings or stairs option to deselect.

I would be wise on future posts that you include platform and release date information - otherwise, we can only guess and sometimes we don't have time to come back again and again.

You didn't look everywhere.  VG / Model tab ... checkbox on lower left - "show categories from other disciplines"
