When you create a "Level" and in that level you create elements (walls, windows, components, roofs....) IF you delete the Level ALL elements created in that level are deleted too.....

But if what you want to do is not to see that symbol in your plans, you can hide only it.....

Copy and paste it to a different level and adjust the height so that it's in the same place. Then you can delete the level.

in the element properties can you change the level it is associated to? why do you want to get rid of the level now?

scooters are okay.. see attached.. there was no changing associated levels or anything like that anywhere.. and i just put that level there to align the fascia- and when i tried to delete it- the fascia and the whole curse roof went with it.. i like the way even the revit gurus don't understand half of these revit mysteries.. and i like the way there has been over 300,000 seats of revit for the last couple of years and only a fraction of those are in actual use.. lol

well i don't know too much about scooters actually- but i always liked anything with two wheels.. as for the fascia- i know this is really flaky- but i just left it there and i don't want to think about that anymore.. thanks very much for offering to help me though.. i still love revit- don't get me wrong on that.. OMG i'm so happy they let us have the classic interface back..
