Need help I have a round porch and need a round roof to go with it. I keep trying to do a roof by footprint and it just won't work. What can I do? My boss is in a big hurry and i am stuck. Still in 2008 Thanks for all the help. Raina Mc.

You don't explain what you mean by it just won't work or what it should look like. Looking at your plan, I would assume that the roof needs to be below the eaves of the other roofs. If this is the case it should be doable. I drew the curved line as slope defining and the unchecked slope defining for the other lines - is this what you need?

there are a couple of ways to do this. I have done roofs like this with the "roof by foot print", or by segments (arrayed). Either way the surface pattern will not display.

There were two straight sloping pieces on either side of the curved sloping piece and for some reason it did not work like that. Any how got it to work my appologize for not being more specific but was not sure how to explain. The error message just said "can't make roof". I see it does not display the surface pattern. What do you do when you come across this? Thank you
