See the attached image for reference. plan and elation. not to scale.

How would i go about making this type of roof. its pitched, the panels that make up the standing seam metal roofing are angled and the roof is tilted off a horizontal plane. i also would like to be able to determine true length of the standing seam panels.

You can create it as an in-place family using a solid blend.

I think i create that by a "Mass" then apply "roof by face" twice, in this way you can use the "Sloped glazing" to create in the top the Roof and in down (the other roof) those "mullions" you have in the image..... in this way, if you create a Section in the roof, you have automatically all the elements you need in the section view.

Just my opinion....

Hi

Just found this old post and was wondering if anyone has a tip for me how to get this roof to work.

The flat section has a 2Deg pitch down and I cant get the side pieces of roof to line with that 2deg as they stay level with the main roofs Ridge

Any help greatly appreceated

Cheers

EssG
