Hi, I´ve made a detail component with some text in it, but when I place the component in the project the text disappears. Any ideas how this can be fixed? Thanks C

You can't place text in a detail component but you can in an annotation.

CTry this. Insert your “Detailed Component” into a Project. Select the “DC” and make a group of it (Name it something appropriate). Place the required text around the “DC”. Select the “Group” and edit it adding the text to the “Group”. Now go to the Project Browser and find your newly created "Group” (Groups/Detail/Name??). Right click on your new “Group” and select “Save Group….” Export it to a folder of you choice. Now when your in a new project you can go to File/Load from Library/Load File as Group… select the new file that you have just exported and you “DC” will come in with Text. This can then be edited and the text can be changed or added to. Hope this helps you.John A
