Anyone know how to select a whole structure including all internal partitions on all levels in order to move it from one place to another?

Use the relocate project function under position in the manage menu in 2010.

Sorry, forgot to mention, using 2009.  Just want to move the building 3m to the right. When I select the building in SITE view, it should select all. However, when I try to move it, there are several constraints errors and joined elements.  If I remove constraints and unjoin to move then some of the walls/partitions and lift core don't move properly and some get deleted.

Quite frustrating

You can do the same thing in 2009 - it's under site I think.  Moving the whole building using the move command is not advisable due to some of the things that you have just mentioned.  If you have to, move the site rather.

Thanks guys, sorry, I've been in a meeting all afternoon.  I'll give it a try this evening.
