OK, here I am again with another query that I am trying my best to figure out but not getting anywhere. My model is getting closer to finish now but I need to add my windows into a curved wall (bay) at the front of the house. I tried adding windows the usual way by just adding them in but they look a little untidy when I do this as I need to add 5 windows to the living room and upstairs bedroom at the front and 4 windows to go around the bedroom window that is above the garage. I remeber somebody on here saying that I could split the face of the area I want to work with and then use a curtain wall fature to achieve the windows that I want. I need some help as I have reached a complete stop at the moment. I have attached an image of the building as it is right now and here is also a link to download the project file should anybody have any free time and be so kind enought to have a look. http://www.kirksmiths.com/curved_wall_split_face.zip Would appreciate any help or guidance on this as always. Still very much a beginner but learning a little more each day. I am using Revit 2010 Thanks Kirk

Do you need something like in the attached image? If so, this was done with curved walls and curved curtain walls above to create the bay window systems. These were split using the curtain wall grids to create the different facets.

Tim, that is exactly what I'm trying to achieve but just can't get it to happen. I just can't get the wall to split so I can use the curtain wall system. Nothing seems to work when I try. I need a very very detailed instruction list for a beginner if either you or anybody else can help me achieve my windows in the curved wall. I need to know what you did like step by step. Looking forward to a solution Kirk

Create the lower section of wall - don't use split faces. The lower section goes up to sill height. The curtain wall goes up the top of the window head level. The wall above goes from the top of window head to sill height of the window above and so on. Draw the curtain wall as a curved curtain wall. At first it will appear straight, but as you add the curatin grids it will facet. I used an array of ref planes to position these correctly.
