I work for an architectual company that does alot of residential parkades. Therefore we put in alot of chainlink fences with gates for storage. I would love a wall type that was a single line (that one could update with different repeating symbols) that would also allow me to put a door into it to represent a gate!

If what you want is drawing in 2D use the "Drafting>Detail lines", just like in Autocad....

You could just create a thin wall. There is a material in the library called chain link fence that you could apply to it.
