How can i show structural concrete beams into a masonary wall when i do a section? the wall always hide the beam and this is not correct. I ve benn trying everything unsuccessfully

In this case I draw a wall, loaded a structural concrete beam and drew it in at the level above the base of the wall. I aligned the top of the wall to the bottom of the beam. What are you trying to do?

2 ways i find that work 1. use the beam join command 2. use the align command, this will push the beam to the center of the wall. also you may have to set the wall to be transparent. Pick the wall-choose view graphics-override-by element-check "transparent". This will let you see the beam through the wall
