Revit 20120

I want to make a mullion built from two materials.

I can't seem to assign material parameters to the profile(s) itself in the  family editor.

So how would I go about doing it, then?

You can only assign one material to a profile.  What you can do is to to do the mullion as part of the curtain wall panel, where you can build it up as you wish and assihn different materials to it.
